Meet Krystal
Krystal Knafl is a Townsville-based artist and the colourful creative force behind Miss Apple Designs.
Her bright, playful work celebrates the Australian world around her, from native flowers and familiar creatures to places, memories and moments gathered along the way.
Created with joy at its heart, Krystal's art is full of colour, personality and a sense of fun. It is the kind of work that simply makes you smile.

ARTWORK FEATURE - MY AUNTY'S BACKYARD
Krystal's much-loved kookaburra sits at the heart of My Aunty's Backyard, surrounded by the abundant Australian flora that appears throughout so much of her work. The kookaburra has become a recurring part of Miss Apple Designs, although Krystal never expected people to connect with it quite as strongly as they did.

Can I buy the Art Sheet Packs separately?
Yes. The Miss Apple Designs Artist Collection Art Sheet Packs are also available separately for existing Beaniis customers who already own a Gallery Box.

What makes this an Artist Collection?
The Artist Collection is a collaboration between Miss Apple Designs and Beaniis.
Krystal has licensed four original artworks for the Beaniis Art Sheet format, allowing her work to be enjoyed in a completely new way - beyond a gallery wall and into everyday life.
How long will this Artist Collection be available?
The Artist Collection is available during the collaboration period. Once the licensing period concludes, this collection will be retired from the Beaniis Gallery, making way for future artist collaborations.
Is the Gallery Box dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand washing the Gallery Box to help preserve its finish and ensure iot continues to look its best. However, it is fine in a cool dishwasher cycle, below 60degrees Celsius.
The Art Sheets should simply be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth if required.

Yes! Beaniis is very focused on expanding our collaboration program to continue to feature Australian artists and illustrators.

When will Orders Ship?
We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders within 3–5 business days from our Brisbane studio. Our Art Sheet Packs are handmade, so please allow a little extra time during peak periods.
We'll also keep you updated throughout the process so you know exactly when your order is on its way.
Can I see one in person?
Each Artist Collection is thoughtfully curated and released through the Beaniis Gallery (on our website!).
As our community grows, we look forward to sharing these collections through selected galleries, museums, creative retailers and events across Australia.
